Meet the Miami Team Behind Cold Harbour Heating and Air Miami

We’re a Miami crew through and through. Some of us were born here, some of us got here as fast as we could, and all of us understand what a Miami summer does to an air conditioner. The humidity, the salt air, the afternoon thunderstorms that roll in off the Biscayne Bay and leave every condenser working double time. Our team handles AC repair, furnace repair, and AC installation across Miami with a simple approach: know the equipment, respect the homeowner, and stand behind the work. Every technician who walks through your door has been background-checked, wears a Cold Harbour uniform, and carries the same written standards that have guided this company since 2003. We’re part of the Kingswell network of independently owned and operated HVAC businesses, which means we answer to one person: you, the Miami homeowner standing in a hot room waiting for a fix.

Our People

Luis R. – Lead Technician

Luis has been turning wrenches in Miami for 17 years, and he’s the first person we send when a system is doing something that doesn’t show up in the manual. He holds EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling and is factory-trained on Carrier, Trane, and Lennox equipment. Before joining Cold Harbour in 2015, Luis worked on commercial rooftop units in Hialeah and Doral, which means he’s seen every failure mode a Florida AC can throw at a technician. He keeps a small spiral notebook in his truck filled with diagnostic notes from jobs going back a decade, and he’ll occasionally pull it out to confirm a pattern before recommending a repair. On weekends, Luis rebuilds classic Honda motorcycles in his garage in Westchester, a hobby that demands the same patience he brings to a stubborn heat pump.

Maria T. – Senior Installer

Maria leads our AC installation crew and has personally overseen more than 400 full-system replacements in Miami-Dade County. She’s certified by North American Technician Excellence (NATE) in air conditioning installation and has completed advanced training through the Kingswell network on proper load calculation and duct design, which matters in Miami’s older homes where ductwork was often sized for a different era. Maria is known for her layout precision: she measures twice, plans the condensate line routing before cutting anything, and leaves the jobsite cleaner than she found it. She grew up in Little Havana and still stops at the same ventanita for cafecito on her way to job sites in Coral Gables and Coconut Grove. Homeowners regularly mention in their follow-up calls that Maria explained the installation process in plain language and answered every question without rushing.

Danielle W. – Service Coordinator

When you call (850) 810-1910, there’s a good chance Danielle is the voice on the other end. She’s been with Cold Harbour since 2018 and runs our dispatch board with a level of calm that keeps the whole operation moving on days when Miami’s heat index pushes past 105. Danielle knows our technicians’ routes, their specialties, and which neighborhoods they’re closest to at any given hour. She also handles the scheduling for our 24/7 live-person phone coverage, making sure someone picks up whether it’s 2 p.m. on a Tuesday or 2 a.m. during a July heat wave. Before joining Cold Harbour, Danielle worked in logistics for a produce distributor in Medley, and she credits that experience with teaching her how to reroute on the fly without losing track of the details. She keeps a running list of every Miami restaurant a technician recommends, and if you ask nicely, she’ll tell you where to get the best pan con lechón in the city.

Andre B. – Apprentice Technician

Andre joined our team in 2023 after completing his HVAC training at Miami Dade College, and he’s currently working toward his EPA certification under Luis’s supervision. He rides along on repair calls across Miami, learning the diagnostic process the Cold Harbour way: listen to the homeowner, check the basics before assuming the worst, and explain the fix before doing it. Andre was born in North Miami and went to high school in Aventura, so he knows the local housing stock well, from 1950s ranch houses with original ductwork to new construction with inverter heat pumps. He’s the youngest member of the team and brings an energy that keeps the rest of us sharp. On his days off, Andre fishes the canals near his parents’ house in Miami Gardens and claims he once caught a peacock bass bigger than his forearm, a story Luis is still waiting to see photographic proof of.

One Standard, Every Job

Every member of the Cold Harbour team works to the same written standards, whether they’re repairing a Trane in Kendall or installing a Rheem in Edgewater. That’s the point of being part of the Kingswell network: we’re independently owned and operated, but we’re not making things up as we go. The Kingswell Way is built on five values that show up on every single job. We say the price before the work begins, written down and handed to you, with no surprises at the door. We show up in the window we gave you, because your time in Miami is valuable and a no-show technician is a broken promise. We leave the place cleaner than we found it, which means no stray zip ties, no scrap wire, no oily footprints across your tile. We put the guarantee in writing, every time, under the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if a repair fails within a full year, we come back and correct the work at no charge. And we come back if it fails, no argument, no fine print. That’s the standard Victor Mancini, Owner at Cold Harbour Heating and Air Miami, has held this Miami team to since day one, and it’s the reason our technicians don’t cut corners when nobody’s watching. A cold harbour, in the old days, was a roadside shelter where travelers waited out rough weather. We think of it the same way: Miami weather will test your HVAC system, and when it does, we’re the shelter you call.
